Evgeny Tonkha continues the musical tradition of the world’s finest masters.

Coming from a musical family — his father, Professor Vladimir Tonkha, studied with some of the greatest musicians of our time, including Tchaikovsky Competition gold medal winners Professors Natalia Shakhovskaya and David Geringas; Valentin Berlinsky, founder and long-time cellist of the legendary Borodin Quartet; and Georg Faust, principal cello of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He also worked with the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich and Daniil Shafran.

Session-Private lessons-where we find an individual approach for each student based on their wishes and abilities.

Here we work through competition repertoire and learn how to present ourselves on stage to make the best possible impression on the jury and the audience.

Chamber music sessions - Chamber music

The most beautiful music written for instruments. It’s no coincidence that all the great composers created so many masterpieces in this genre. You can play any instrument at any level, and we can organize a chamber music session with top-level professionals, including musicians from the LA Philharmonic, LA Chamber Orchestra, LA Opera, and world-renowned stars. enjoy playing and discussing your favorite music in the company of masters!
